Do NOT let the cost of tuition be the only reason your child(ren) don’t attend Path Light Academy.
Tuition to attend Path Light Academy is $2,500 per year for your first student and $2,000 for each additional student in your household. Scholarships may be available. This can be discussed at your enrollment interview. For the 5th (or more) child(ren), there is a $250 registration fee only – no tuition is charged.
Volunteers receive up to 30% off their tuition costs. To volunteer, simply check the box on the page when you visit our registration link and give us an idea of how you are interested in serving.
When you register online, you are not required to pay tuition at that time. By the first day of school each student is required to have $900 down unless other arrangements are made. The remaining balance can be broken up throughout the year over the 10 months of school. Scholarships are available. If you are able to pay in full by the first day of school, you will receive a 5% discount.
These rates may change at the discretion of the school administration.
We do not charge interest or carrying charges for monthly installments.
If tuition payments are being made monthly, they are due on the 20th of the month, and are paying for the following month’s tuition. For example, October’s tuition is due on September 20th.
Other costs during the year may include field trip expenses and purchasing snacks, yearbooks or review books (high school only).
Homeschoolers: You may take classes a-la-carte (take only the classes you want). The cost per class is $501 per year with a $200 annual registration fee. If there are more than one student registering the per class discount would be 25%. The cost can be broke up throughout the school year into monthly payments if needed.
Late Tuition Payments
In order to maintain the school’s solvency, and in fairness to those who pay their bills faithfully every month, we may decline to accept late tuition payments.
If a payment is 10 days overdue, a note will be sent home notifying the parent/caregiver.
If a payment goes to 30 days overdue, the student or students may be suspended until the account is paid up.
If an account is repeatedly more than 10 days over due, the student(s) may be suspended after any payment is only 10 days overdue, and until the account is paid up.
Exceptions to 2 & 3 may be made at the Principal’s discretion, if prior arrangements have been made. However, it is the responsibility of the parents/caregivers to contact the school to discuss those arrangements.
Tuition is refundable only prior to the first day of school. If a child does not complete the school year at PLA tuition refunds, if due, will be made as follows:
Student leaves on or before the 15th of the month, a refund of ½ month’s tuition will be paid.
After the 15th of the month, no refund for that month will be made.
If tuition has been paid in advance, the unused amount will be refunded.
All books except student-purchased high school review books are the property of Path Light Academy. They, and any other PLA property, must be returned to the office in good condition before any tuition refunds are paid.
